MOTIVATION!!

Motivation! Everyone needs motivation. I love magazines, and getting Shape magazine in the mail every month is always a boost! I love the new workouts that are in there every month!! It's great because I get Shape magazine for free! If you search online you can get a lot of magazines for free! My other motivation is keeping a little bit of workout equipment out in our front room! I know some can see it as an eye sore but for me, when I'm sitting on the couch its really easy to grab my one pound medicine ball and do some plyometrics with my arms. (lay on the floor, and throw the ball up and down, the catching and then throwing is great for toning those arms! and since the ball never goes straight up and straight back down it works a lot of those stabilizing muscles in your arms!) Having the workout equipment in sight all of the time helps to remind me of staying in shape and never missing a dull moment to workout! Remember you can get a great workout in small chunks through out the day, this helps me to do that! My last motivation for the moment is swimsuit season of course! I hate putting on a suit that fit last year and it doesn't fit now. As much as I love getting a new suit, getting bigger is not the reason I want to get a new one! I wear one piece swimsuits and I've had the same two for a few years now and they still fit YAY! And I plan to keep it that way, cause one pieces aren't cheap! In high school I bought a two piece and kept it more for tanning, which in Vancouver I used to do in my backyard a lot!! I put the suit on this week and it was really nice to see that it fit! It was also nice to see that I don't look completely terrible in it! Not that I'd wear it in public but it fit from high school! My future goal is to one day look good enough that I want to go out in public it! Not that I will! Nobody needs to see my cellulite! haha! But At least I'd feel more confident in my one piece! So swimsuit season definitely motivating!!

What's your motivation? what gets you off the couch?
